The trial of the movie star Ron Jeremy continues at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office on Wednesday 25th, August 2021, indicting him on 30 sexual counts involving 21 women over the past two decades. The trial detailed how Hyatt ‘The Movie Pornstar’ sexually abused women over a 23-year span between 1996 and 2019, using his connections to shape justice.
According to the Los Angeles County Districts Attorney’s Office, Ron Jeremy was found guilty of forcible oral copulation, sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person, act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, and assault with intent to commit rape.
However, Ron Jeremy pleaded not to be guilty of 12 counts charges out of 30, while his attorney insisted he is innocent of all charges. His attorney, Stuart Goldfarb, presented Jeremy’s case to a grand jury to avoid a public preliminary hearing where witnesses would have to testify in open court, similar to the case of media mogul Harvey Weinstein.
During the trial, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement. “We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes.”
The court concluded that Ron Jeremy is a disaster to the community and a bad influence that needs to be monitored in a close gap. However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney returned Ron to the Twin Towers Correction Facility in Los Angeles with a bond of $6.6 million as the trial is to be continued in September 2021. Jeremy is considered one of the icons of the adult entertainment industry. He was the subject of the 2001 documentary “Porn Star”.
