President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya has exposed his plans on the economic acceleration program. He made this statement during KISUMU, 1st June 2021 (PSCU). The President said, my focus is an economic acceleration scheme for all Kenyans. Uhuru added that political freedom in the absence of economic freedom is nothing but an illusion.
His administration has quickened the attainment of the country’s development goals at the national and individual levels. “Our national cake or our annual worth as a country every year is now at Ksh 10.3 Trillion. Even if you factor in inflation, our economic acceleration programme has multiplied what the Founding Fathers left in our custody,” the President said.

On a pro-rata basis, this is seven times what previous administrations had done combined.
