On Friday 13th November 2020 at 2: 11 pm on Twitter, the executive governor of Lagos states, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu unveiled the first Locally-Assembled Electric Car called Hyundai-Kona at the Stallion Group Automobile Factory, Ojo Lagos. The newly designed Hyundai Kona is the first-ever electric driven motor technology in Nigeria.
The Hyundai-Kona innovation was live through the Stallion Group for the noble at the VON Automobiles Nigeria in Ojo, Lagos State. His excellency Sanwo-Olu commended the VON innovation team for putting us through an electronic automobile life despite the pandemic in the society. He prays to see more innovation survive under his administration.
The Hyundai-Kona First Test Drive
The first electric car test took place at the Hyundai Kona Automobile Factory, Ojo Lagos. The price cost is about 24 Million nairas reviewed during the test drive. The Managing Director, VON Automobiles, Mr Rohtagi Manish, expands the essence of the project and its positive change in the Nigeria auto market.
