The popular and talented Africa Giant is said to be performing at the 63rd Grammy awards premiere ceremony which will be streamed live all over the world via Grammy.com on Sunday 14th of March 2021. The Nigerian Singer, Rapper, and Songwriter will be the first Nigerian to perform at Grammy. Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known professionally as Burna Boy was born on the 2nd of July 1991.

Burna Boy @ the 63rd Grammy Awards
He is one of the biggest and most successful African artists. His fame and success keep increasing as he continues to set the pace in the world of Afrobeat and music as a whole. He rose to fame in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013). In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Music Group internationally. His third studio album Outside marked his major-label debut.
In 2019, he won Best International Act at the 2019 BET Awards and was announced as an Apple Music Up Next artist being the first Nigerian to perform at the BET award show. His fourth album “African Giant” was released in July 2019 and it won Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards. In the same 2019, Burna Boy was nominated for Best World Music Album at the Grammy Awards. Sadly, he didn’t come home with the prize
He was awarded the African Artiste of the year at the 2020 VGMA’s. In 2020, his album Twice as Tall was nominated for the same category at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Burna Boy is the first Nigerian with back-to-back Grammy nominations and Nigerians are proud of him. Artists like Lido Pimienta, Igor Levit, Terri Lyna, Poppy, Jimmy Holmes, and Rufus Wainwright are some of the artists with nomination who have been announced to perform on the show. The 63rd edition will be hosted by Jhene Aiko.
